| Visiting and Befriending | |||
| A large number of ANCA clients are housebound or have severely restricted mobility. They depend on other people coming to see them to provide a break from being alone. Some people are content with their own company but others enjoy the chance of a chat and a cup of tea. |

| ANCA introduces clients and volunteers and, after ensuring that everyone is happy with the arrangement, the volunteer undertakes to visit on a regular basis. A number of friendships have been forged from ANCA introductions and both parties gain a great deal from the visits. It is so important that housebound people do not suffer the loneliness and isolation that can come from being alone. |

We also need people who would be prepared to sit with clients while their carer goes out - maybe on business or for a well-earned break.ANCA clients |
